The dish is 7 by 5 inches, which is the perfect size for single servings. If you are looking for a larger Au Gratin dish to serve the whole family, don't buy this set. You will be disappointed to see how small the dishes are. The 1/2 quart size is just a pint size. I have tried baked scallop and baked salmon with the dishes, the result is fantastic. Cleanup is very easy.
